Existential foot philosophy in Kierkegaard’s Copenhagen
Join us on an authentic hike in Søren Kierkegaard’s footsteps! On a guided walking tour we walk in and on Kierkegaard’s Copenhagen footsteps and routes. His life course and writing are understandably inseparable. He had a different passion than the rational-pleasing madness of romance: He saw as the first that the true and most difficult task in life is that the individual each day chooses his inner as his outer.
With his Christianity for the individual, Kierkegaard fought against the state church personified by Grundtvig’s common and institutionalized Christianity. For the first time, Christianity was met by the insistence of existentialism on an individual who also separated himself from society and could choose for himself. Not yet detached from religion, psychology emerged with theology-educated Kierkegaard’s philosophy for life.
